It looks like you have great chances at all of those schools. Your scores are pretty high relative to the applicant pool at both UVA and Chapel Hill- I think those are solid matches. Of course, your stats are great for the ivies that you mentioned as well, but those are reaches for everyone.
Your ECs are nice, you seem quite involved and have an established interest in your planned major. Awesome leadership positions!
Overall- I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
Your SAT score and GPA are very high for UNC and UVA. You definitely have a shot at the Ivies.

I’ve been told that my 750 SAT II, as well as five 4’s and two 5’s on APs, would greatly inhibit my chances - what is the legitimacy of such a thought?
Hi. Perhaps a little late, but you can’t apply early to Harvard, UVA and UNC-Chapel Hill, as Harvard has REA. However, it is possible to apply early to those schools if there are multiple ‘rounds’ (some schools have two early action rounds, or so I have heard). Just thought I’d let you know
The above information needs to be clarified, as it’s a bit misleading. Quote from Harvard’s REA information site:
“Early Action is a non-binding early program, meaning that if you are admitted you are not obligated to enroll. If you apply to Harvard under our Early Action program, you may also apply at the same time to any public college/university or to foreign universities but you are restricted from applying to other private universities’ Early Action and Early Decision programs.”
Aha, I thought it applied to every university in the US (including the public ones) (excusez-moi), thanks for clearing that up @ThinkOn
Top colleges love to pack their incoming classes with valedictorians. Maintaining your current class ranking will serve you well in the application process.
Don’t worry about your test scores; they are high enough to get you in the door anywhere.
Finally, don’t be afraid to let these top schools know that you have experiences (e.g., dishwashing rather than, say, making a grand tour of Europe) that would enable you to enrich the intellectual and social life of the college by bringing a “non-elite” perspective to bear on crucial issues.
