lol.......yeah man, at least redbirdz got waitlisted and not rejected...

Did you get into Caltech noobcakes?

waitlisted at caltech

and atleast i am not stuck up like that mathgirl

but w/e i dont want to hav any beef with any of ya'll

and please dont jump all over me saying haha i knew ud get waitlisted at mit/caltech, i realize that im not as stellar as i thought - but i now know i was fortunate (very) to get into duke

Redbirdz, I think it's great that you've realised that 2400 doesn't mean acceptance into every college (Remember you state UPenn would be a safety). Congrats on your acceptance to Duke and Good Luck at other colleges.

UPenn is NOT a safety trust me i know

i am ridding myself of arrogance

im probly not ivy worthy, lets be honest!

well, its good that yer realizing that its all up to chance, pretty much 75% of the ppl on this forum are ivy worthy (including you) but prolly 25% of these ppl will actually get in. that's how random all this **** is.

i think redbirdz just matured about 5 years in the past few days...(compliment)

sorry about my previous comments. Ivies aren't for everybody and they certaintly aren't always the best schools.

Duke is a great school, and it is very challenging to get in. A lot of people from my school live in NC themselves and had 4.0 GPA's and still got rejected.

I don't think even 25% more like 5%

yes duke is solid

Princeton remains my first choice now though

and wow that girl April on that other thread - INSANE at math

and wat can i do to get off the waitlists

you'll get into at least one, don't worry.

and as for duke...duke's great. good profs, classes, etc...prolly similar to Stanford or Yale.

and if anyone wants to know more, just msg me b/c I'm a dukie.

Redbirdz, Well colleges don't take many from waitlists. But send them updates about new accomplishments etc. Also I don't suggest risking Duke admission for waitlists (They announce waitlist decisions after May 1)

did u hear from them yet?

since i am a junior and have yet to apply its obvious i would kno that! ;)

thats exactly what u were doing
u said it was second rate

I'm interested to see what's the outcome of college decisions on Redbirdz...
Frankly, impressive SATs, but again, it sounds like you have no life.
Based on the 1st few comments on your stats (all those comments that you seem to desperatedly rebuke) you seem to me overly confident. Anyhow, if you "break the mold" and get accepted to all the top-notch colleges I'm sure you WILL impress lot's of people.
