Chances at Ivies given "waitlisted" at Stanford

I've just been waitlisted at Stanford.. what are my odds that at least 1 of the following schools will accept me? (I've also been accepted to USC (presidential scholarship recipient), UCLA, UCBerkeley, and UCSD so far)

Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Columbia
UPenn (Huntsman/Wharton)

thanks!

LOL yea we can really chance you with NO STATS at all.

touch

I didn’t bother to go through and re-bold everything.

Ruca, are those your stats? or august_chopins’?

dam…

You definitely have a chance. At least you got waitlisted, not rejected. Although I hear that Ivies don’t look that favorably upon Chinese males…

Wow you are in the exact some position as me august. I have also applied to those schools (except jerome-fischer rather than hunstman), was waitlisted at Stanford, and have been admitted into those 3 UC’s + USC.

From what I’ve seen, Stanford seems to have a slightly different method of picking applicants from HYP in that Stanford focuses more on unique ECs or qualities and less on academics.

Those are the OP’s. I looked through their post history and found them. -.-

P(Harvard|Waitlisted Stanford) = P(Harvard U Waitlisted Stanford) / P(Waitlisted Stanford).

the U should be the other way, but w/e.

lol .. oh and btw my 12th grade grades are all A’s also

“sup,” that kinda sucks for me then.. cuz my GPA and SAT’s arent that topnotched…

Ah well what do I know…I’m just another stupid high school student going crazy over college admissions

hey results got out…

UPenn Wharton: Accepted
Harvard: waitlist
Yale: waitlist
Princeton: reject
Columbia: waitlist

those are just for ivies.. i guess the results arent taht bad…

I got waitlisted at HYPS too and will probably go to Wharton.

I know Wharton is good and all, but I’m still rather disappointed at not getting into HYPS.

Wharton is totally better than HYP.

really? 10 char

For business yeah.
