uhhhh...cant think of anthing else at the moment, SO, what do you all think are my chances at this beautiful school?

From your grades and activities, you seem like a pretty average applicant. However, the fact that you're from Apple Valley can definitely work in your favor. Since you're familiar with the "Greater-Gambier" area and can be in close contact with the admissions staff in order to express your interest, I'd say the chances are in your favor.

Get your ACT score up in the low 30s and then come over here and talk to Dean Britz. Talk to her even if you can only get in the upper 20s. If you show a passion for Kenyon, you have a good chance. You need to convince the adcom that you will bring something unique.

Sooooo, i got my april ACT score early today....i got a 31!!!!! I was so excited! so now im kinda just debating on whether to take the SATs or not...i know kenyon doesnt require them, and being on the upper end of the average ACT score for kenyon, im a little hesitant to sabotage it with a bad SAT score. I took the psat in october and did poorly on it; somewhere around the equivalent of an 1800, but i had no prep whatsoever...i didnt even know i was taking it untill about 1/2 hr before the test. So what do you guys think of my chances now?

Congrats! I think you have a good chance. All you really need is a strong essay and good rec letters. I would still come to Kenyon and talk to an admissions person since you live so close by. They will probably give you some useful information on applying.
