Chances at Kenyon?

<p>Hi! I'm going into my senior year in high school and as an aspiring writer, I'm very interested in Kenyon. I'd appreciate any input on what my chances might be. Here's my info. </p>

<p>with what you have listed you should have a really good shot at getting in. Although you may have a weighted GPA of a 5 what is that out of and most schools will recalculate your GPA to an unweighted GPA. Also, many people have applied to Kenyon with great stats such as your own, but with a college this small they want to find something different in you and they want to see it in your essay. With your extracurriculars and everything you should be fine just remember to nail your essay.</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply!! My GPA is 5.00 out of 5.00, which unweighted is the same as a 4.00. Basically my school puts more weight on honors and AP classes, so if you take all honors/APs and get straight A’s you get a 5.00.</p>

<p>Short of a disastrous essay, I can’t foresee rejection.</p>

<p>Make sure to show interest in the school, visit and interview with admissions and you should be a sure thing for acceptance.</p>
