<p>Hey guys I really would like to major in either history or politcal science at the UC school system, so I think this means I'd be applying to the Letters and Science Colleges of the schools, any other ideas of good colleges preferably in California I would appreciate too! Also, will my major benefit/hurt my chances at any of the colleges I'd like to apply too here is my info:</p>

<p>senior year: im a junior right now, but im planning on taking ap stats, ap gov, ap psychology, honors physics and a class on california history next year at a community college</p>

volunteered at a local theatre (for plays, concerts etc...) for about 100+ hours for about 1 year</p>
<p>I have been active on eBay buying and selling mostly concert tickets for about 3 years now and have conducted probably at least 300 transactions and probably at least $10,000 dollars in business.</p>
<p>I work at a movie theatre currently and have been doing so for about 5 months now... around 10 once application time comes around</p>
<p>I've been an avid singer/songwriter/guitar player all through high school now, I've performed many times, including for charitable causes</p>
<p>Hehehe... I got 1st place in the Ventura County science fair in 7th grade in my division if that would help at all and competed at the California State Fair.</p>
<p>I am white and jewish and go to a public high school that is semi competitive and is composed of mostly white students if that means anything....</p>
<p>Anyways, thats me! If there is any last minute things I can do to help my chances (besides raising my SAT score :) ) I'd really appreciate your advice on that. Thanks again to anyone who replies!</p>
