<p>I have heard that Pitt is fairly generous with their academic merit scholarships. I was wondering if anyone could give me any idea of what kind of aid to expect (fingers crossed for full tuition!).</p>

4.0 unweighted GPA (4.6 weighted)
most rigorous curriculum available (All 6 APs offered)
34 ACT
2190 SAT
Ranked 1st in class
4 on AP Chem exam (did not take the AP Chem class)</p>
<p>ECs:
Many musical activities/competitions
Drum Major for marching band
Month long foreign exchange program
Eagle Scout
The usual NHS, clubs (a couple officer positions), volunteering, etc.</p>

<p>You look pretty good for full tuition! Your high GPA and ACT score make you automatically UHC eligible, which is the first step to getting a scholarship most of the time. I think it helps you’re from a less popular state too! </p>
<p>Do you have an idea of what you might want to major in?</p>
<p>Make sure that you apply early and SEND IN REC LETTERS, ESSAY AND RESUME. You absolutely must do this for the scholarship even though it isn’t required for admission.</p>
<p>I plan on applying as a neuroscience major.</p>

<p>Lucky for you the current UHC Dean is also the Honor’s Neuro professor. He’s supposedly really good and based on your academic record it seems like the class would be a good fit for you! At the very least if you ever visit you should try to talk to him so that he knows you personally 
I didn’t tell you this, but he tends to exhibit favoritism towards people he knows-- especially students from his class.</p>
