Ok, I'm at University of Pittsburgh right now. I kind of messed up in high school. I took the most rigorous course-load available and ended with like a 3.45 u.w gpa and didnt study as much as I should have and got a 28 on my ACTs. 790 Math lvl2, 690 Bio E for SAT2s

HS classes: All honors/AP, AP Calc AB and BC, AP Bio, AP Econ, AP Human Geo, AP Phys Mech, AP USH, Linear Algebra.

I was just wondering, if I wanted to transfer to UMich, do they focus more on my Freshman college grades or my high school stats? I will aim for a very high gpa as a bio major.

what would I have to achieve to make it into UMich College of Arts and Sciences?

please, any advice?

If you apply as a freshman (for sophomore admission), they will obviously focus on your high school grades and ACT scores, since you will have only one semester complete when you apply.

When you apply as a sophomore (for junior admission), they will mostly focus on your college grades and results. If you are a borderline admit, they will probably also ask for a grade card/transcript showing your spring semester results.

P.S. If you want to go to business school at the University of Michigan, be aware that you will have to apply as a freshman (for sophomore admittance), since they only accept sophomores (and a very limited number of freshmen) to their Ross Business School.

Good luck.

thanks a lot!

im applying for arts and sciences, majoring in bio
