I don't have a lot of EC's, took part in track and cross country in highschool. I've done quite a bit of volunteer work, and I've started my own business. I was in band (jazz, and marching). That's about it though.

My high school GPA was 3.98
College GPA with approx 20 credits is 4.0 and I'll be taking 20 more credits before transfer
Didn't take SAT or ACT in highschool
I'm a "non-traditional" student returning at age 29.

I'm trying to get into psychology programs.

What are my chances of getting into the University of Michigan (LSA)? What about Central Michigan University? Are there other out of state schools I should be considering?

One opinion. You don't need to worry about ECs. The Michigan transfer app allows you to list ECs from high school as well as "activities" in hs and post hs - your volunteer work and starting your own business can fit there or other places on the app.

IDK whether they will want SAT/ACT from you as I think you would still be sophomore standing with 40 credits. Are you planning to take? If you're hoping not to, you'll need to search deeper on their website or phone them.

I think your GPA is obviously strong and so a lot may depend on the strength and transferability of the courses you are taking now.

IDK anything re the psychology program wrt difficulty of getting in.

I'm sure you could get into quite a number of oos schools, but I'm guessing you will need financial aid, so that may be an issue?
