<p>I'm a junior at a very competitive college prep in Illinois (ranked top 10) and have the following (abridged) stats: </p>
<p>30 ACT - Will retake with writing portion in 2005
SAT - Will take in 2005</p>
<p>3.5 GPA / 4.0 (Note: Honors and APs NOT weighted)</p>
<p>Typical college prep curriculum (4 yrs math, 4 yrs english, 4 yrs spanish,etc)
only AP's so far:
AP Computer Science
AP Calculus BC
Planning on: AP Physics C, AP Economics, AP Stats
I am scheduled to take two semesters of undergrad math classes senior year and one over the summer at a local university (not community college).</p>

Math Team
Computer Club
Peer Tutor
Cross Country and Track </p>
<p>So, what do you suppose are honest chances (and recommendations for increasing those chances) of the following for an EE major: </p>
<p>-Purdue<br>
-Rose Hulman
-UIUC
-U of Wisconsin
-Northwestern
-U of Michigan
-U of Colorado-Boulder </p>
<p>Can you suggest any other good colleges in EE that would match my stats? Preferably within the Midwest. </p>
<p>Also a somewhat offtopic question -- say that the college of engineering is unlikely that I'll get in, what would you have to say about going into LAS majoring in Physics and picking up EE in grad school?</p>
<p>Anyway, any help and positive feedback is greatly appreciated.</p>
