Chances at MIT, Caltech, a few ivies, and others

Hi, I’m a white male from Minnesota and I attend a decent high school (it was ranked nationally but not near the top). I’m wondering what my chances are at: MIT (EA), Caltech (EA), University of Chicago (EA), Columbia, Cornell, and RPI.

IB Diploma Candidate

Classes this year: Math HL, Physics HL, Chemistry SL, English HL, History HL, IB Theory of Knowledge, Symphonic Orchestra
Classes last year: Math HL (year 1 of 2), Physics SL, English HL, History HL, Spanish 11 (we covered enough of the IB curriculum to take the SL test), Advanced Computer Programming, Symphonic Orchestra

GPA: 3.6 UW (my school doesn’t do weighted grades)
My GPA is on an upward trend (freshmen: 3.4, sophomore: 3.6, Junior: 3.8, Senior 3.95 so far)
Rank: Top 10%

SATI: 740M, 700V, 650W
SATII: 740 Math IIC, 700 Physics, 740 Spanish w/ listening (took it in Nov, haven’t studied Spanish since last year)

ECs:
Volunteer at Hospital (~500 Hours)
Varsity Tennis (Doubles 1 last year, Singles 1 this year, Competed in the individual sectional tournament last year, drills year round 6 hours/week)
Math Team
Science Olympiad
Quiz Bowl
NHS
Spanish Honors Society
Link Crew/Link Leader
IB Student Board
Violin (8 years, 3rd chair)

Summer:
Operation Catapult at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

I’ve only taken two non IB or Honors level classes that I had to take in order to graduate. I went to an elementary school that taught exclusively in Spanish up through 5th grade. Half of my classes in middle school were taught in Spanish. I was not able to register for IB Spanish HL because of scheduling issues so I can't take the HL test (IB requires you to be registered in the class to take the exam).

I don't think you have a chance at MIT, Caltech, and Ivies.

I had a similar SAT, my writing was significant higher though in the mid 700s. I was admitted to Cornell and Chicago

I didn't get into MIT or Columbia.

low math scores... the 800 math II is pretty much required by caltech... that's the hurtful part

MIT (EA), Caltech ), Columbia, Cornell, will be reach

Your GPA is pretty low and your SATs are also below average. Nothing also pops out at me of your EC's to make up for the low stats. 500 hours at hospital. A lot of people do that. However, not many people bank on this aspect in their essays. Please tell me your planning on going into something medical-related. Although this may sound selfish, volunteering at a hospital by doing paper work and such is a little pointless if you aren't going to go into the medical field. If you do plan on going into the medical field, then mention this as your way of taking initiative and trying to get closer to the medical profession.

you prolly have a full ride (or close to one) at RPI

don't listen to these people...retake the SATs, get an 800 on your sat I math and you will have a better chance.
