Hey guys, I was wondering about my new chances to my schools now that I got my October SAT score in.

I have a 3.68 UW GPA with 11 AP and AICE classes and more honors with a strong upward trend (3.2 Freshman year).

My SAT is a 2060 (670 M, 620 R and 770 W). Should I retake in Dec to get a higher score? I legit miss probably 8 or 9 vocab on every CR test I take.

My main EC's are club soccer (10 hours a week, 52 weeks a year) where I am the captain. I also have Varsity Soccer for school, was JV soccer captain one year and Varsity Golf.
I coach a youth soccer team and also volunteer in the local youth soccer for kids with special needs league. For 3 summers, I spent 160 hours each summer volunteering at the local youth summer camp for my city.
I am also an NHS officer, surf club officer and a member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes).
I'm an AP Scholor and have received 5 school wide awards for highest achievement in that class along with a local city wide award for placing in a photography contest.

I'm in upper-middle class white boy from Palm Beach, Florida.

What are my chances
to these schools?
Notre Dame (dream and absolute favorite since I was born)
Southern Cal
Boston College
Wake Forest
Pepperdine
U Miami Florida
Vandy (far reach, I know)
U Florida
UNC Chapel Hill
Florida State (safety)
Already into Central Florida.
My schools are

For being OOS thats gonna hurt you at UNC, but your GPA and scores are pretty good
NDs gonna be a stretch unless you can get your scores up in the 2200 range so I’d retake and if its your dream school ED, if moneys not a problem
Looks good maybe low reaches BC and SC and but I dont know much about the rest
Good Luck!

Retake SATs and study more vocab (look into Direct Hits) and that should put you into the 2100s, which improves your chances. If you ED to Notre Dame, that’ll help you out too. Just work on getting your SATs up into the 2100s, if not 2200s, and you’ll be up a strong contender.

You’d stand a pretty good shot at all those, even ND and Vandy if your SAT was higher. If i were you I’d take both the ACT and SAT in december. I don’t see a real reason not to try both. You might do even better at it. In order to get to ND and Vandy without a 3.8+ gpa, i’d say you need higher SAT and GPA, but you should get into most of those or a lot

Retake SATs to 1440/2180 (very specific I know lol) sort of range, and I’d say you have a great shot at getting into most of those schools. What club do you play for by the way?

Same I think you should definitely retakes SATs to improve CR score, but otherwise you’re a pretty solid candidate. The tougher colleges on your list are def. UNC, ND, and Vandy, but you have a solid shot at those regardless.

i think you have very good chances to all of your colleges, especially because of your EC’s. like everyone else said, i’d recommend you take the SAT once more, but also take the ACT because you might be better at the ACT rather than the SAT.

Matched at all except southern cal and notre dame
however
if your essays are as passionate about ND as you say you are then I would say you got an above 50 percent chance.
