Hi I attend a Dublin City Schools High School and am hoping to attend Ohio state next year. I have a fairly low GPA of 3.33 Weighted. Also have a reason for low GPA around 3.0 during freshman year. I have a lot extra curricular activities and clubs at my school. I have held 3 leadership positions. Willing be doing 2 internships at local businesses. SAT is at 1580 but am hoping to get that to a 1850-1950. Lastly I will also be doing PSEO at the local Columbus State Community College. BTW I am a junior and first semester GPA was at a 3.5 weighted. Ive wanted to go to OSU since young. What do you guys think? Thanks for your input.

Is pseo where you take classes? I’d say your chances are best improved by taking calculus at CSCC. The math teachers at CSCC are great, so don’t worry.

Worst-case-scenario: do a year or two at CSCC and then transfer. But take college credit classes at CSCC, not remedial. Talk with your advisor about what transfers over. All math pre-calc or higher should.

What is your intended major?

I am looking to go into the Business Administration field. Thanks. Any other tips to increase my chances at OSU? Could I apply as a transfer student from Columbus State if I did PSEO? PSEO is when you take classes at Columbus State while in High School. Thanks
