My two top choices are Penn and Yale. I will apply ED or EA to one of them, probably ED to Penn. Do I have a shot at all??

GPA: 3.7ish
SAT: 2190 (710 V 730 M 750 W)(will take again and hopefully go higher)
Junior Year Courses: AP US History (A-), AP English Lang (B+), Honors Chemistry (A), Honors Precalculus (B+), AP Latin Lit (A)
Senior Year Courses will be: AP Calc BC, AP Poli Sci, AP Econ, AP Senior Symposium aka English Lit (top 10-15 seniors invited), AP Latin, Classical Mythology (fall)
Extracurriculars: Horseback riding (gazillions of awards, ranked #2 in my state right now)-30 hours/week, school newspaper (Head of News and columnist), Model United Nations (best delegate Yale Model UN 2008 and Student Head)
Other: I want to be a Classics major. I just was named first runner-up in a Constitutional essay contest. This summer I have an internship at a local law office lined up.

You have a very good shot. Seriously, though, don't even bother to retake if you aren't applying to wharton or engineering at Penn.

your stats are good. i say yale and penn are worth a shot. the SAT...well it does depend on your major, less popular majors at those schools you should have an excellent chance. Good Luck. Id go with Yale if I were you:)

Grades are a bit low, even for the A-=3.67 scale. SATs aren't going to blow anyone away either. I think your best chances would be to apply Penn CAS ED, but you're about an average Ivy applicant. I don't mean to burst your bubble, you've definitely worked extremely hard, but Penn and Yale are two of the most selective institutions out there. Best of luck.
