CHANCES at Princeton for a National Champion????

Hi, this is my first post after reading a lot of other peoples chances and generally freaking out that my grades are not a 4.0 (like more than half of you guys). Sorry about the title (I was just trying to get your attention, and although it is true, I am not arrogant.. I swear).

I am a female at one of the top private schools in the country. (about 25% go on to ivies and many more go to many of the top colleges)

Test Scores:
SAT- 2250
ACT-36
Sat II- Math 1- 730 (just took other SAT IIs)

GPA: 86% (I know, it doesnt sound that great but it's important to mention that the valedictorian this year had a 92%).

EC's:
-National Champion of a sport that is at the Olympics, but that is not offered at most colleges. (I won't list it here since it would be pretty easy for anyone to look me up...)
-On National team for same sport and am competing around the world this summer. I spend about 20+ hours a week training for sport.
-Am being recruited for two sports that are offered at most colleges
-Was state winner for National History Day competition and am going to upcoming National leven History Day competition.
-Several state science awards and runner up to go to the Intel science fair.
-Community Service- 100 hours, volunteer at day care for inner city kids

I'm also looking at Bates, Williams, Bowdoin, Yale, Dartmouth, Georgetown, and Middlebury..Can anyone tell me which colleges are reaches, matches, and safeties??

match- bates
low reach-bowdoin, gtown, middlebury
high reach- williams yale dartmouth

I think you're being a bit harsh. OP is a national champion at a very competitive school with good SATs and a PERFECT ACT. She has all the stuff colleges look for. I would say:

Match: Bates, Bowdoin, Dartmouth, Middlebury, Georgetown
Low Reach/Reach: Williams, Yale, Princeton.

And I think you'll probably get into at least one of those reaches, if you have any luck at all.

Shoo-in: Bates and Middlebury.
Match: Williams, Bowdoin, Dartmouth, and Georgetown.
Reach (i.e. as good a chance as anyone else): Yale and Princeton.

Good luck! Don't be wary of applying to a good number of schools.

ernie h. - williams and dartmouth are nobody's matches, and bowdoin and georgetown aren't more selective than middlebury...

Difficult to say. I realize that justcruising08 does not want to post the sport for fear of being revealed online, but the sport really does make all the difference (and unless she's posted something that she's later regretted, I personally can't see why it would matter, but it's totally her call.)

Obviously if the college has the supposed-Olympic sport, then she has better odds (sorry, justcruisin08, that I'm not addressing you personally but other people have referred to previous posters in the first person so I'm trying not to confuse anyone.)

Sounds like grades, test scores, etc won't keep her out, and might even help her. I think she would be competitive at Princeton if Princeton offers her sport, and to most of the other schools if not. Geography will also make a difference; East Coast hurts a little, and Midwest/West Coast helps. It sounds to me that she is from the East Coast given her tone!
