I'm goibg into my senior year and am beginning college visits to both University of Illinois and Purdue West Lafyette. I havea 31 on my ACT, a 4.2 weighted gpa taking all AP and honors coursrd and about a 3.5 unweighted gpa what are my chances of getting into pre vet programs at those schools? And which has a hetter vet program? I'm also curious if either school gives a good amount of scholarships? I've heard U of I really doesn't...

Oh and my extra curriculars are
Bowling
Jazz band
Swim Guard (leadership post)
NHS
First Class Leaders

Vet schools do give priority to in- state students, so your state of residency may be more important than the other things yoU are considering.

Thanks, I never thought about that. I have a house in both states but I live in illinois. Is there a way I can work having a place in both to my advantage?

Some adjacent states have agreements, so it may not be an issue.

I am not an expert on residency, so I cannot answer your other question. Your best bet is to do some searching on the colleges websites. Not every state has a vet school.

Yep that I do know haha. Thanks so much! Those are my top two so I’ll definitely look into that.
