My uw gpa is 3.0892 and my sat score is 2010. My weighted gpa is 4.4 cause my school has some weird weighting system. I have taken 11 honors courses and 2 AP courses. My AP scores were 5 and 4 in APUSH and Lang and Comp. I live instate and have subject test scores of 750 us history and 650 in literature. I was a manger for a sports team, member of jv tennis, volunteered in library, hospital, greenhouse, and overseas. Also i have worked at a fast food restaurant. Also a member of student council and a nhs nominee. I plan to apply early action. Do i have a good shot of getting in? Please help. Also I have an upward trend as i had a 3.45 freshman year, 2.67 soph year, and a 3.1418 junior year.

bumpppppppp

Please someone help. It would be appreciated.

Your gpa is confusing me but from what I see its sounds like a A- and your sat score is more than good enough for rutgerss rutgers=safe

My gpa is 3.08 so its a b average.

Um what high school? For many instate colleges (espec Rutgers) they look at your high school’s ranking/status and see how past admitted students at RU from the same high school did.

a fairly competitive school. i checked and for my school everyone with 2000 or more got in.

US Citizen living overseas.
Good grades, crappy SAT score though ~1900.
(Will re-take and will take the ACT later)

Eng Lit: 660
(will retake Lit and will take Chinese)
Got good grades for my IGCSEs.
Focused leadership positions.

Do I have a shot?

Thank you very much!

Seriously, this is rude. Go get your own thread.

Upward trend is helpful, if you are instate and you ED, I think your will have great chances.

Thanks for the help. Feel free for anyone else to voice opinion.

your probably going to get in

Sorry, it was rude if me to do so.

Haha nah its not. Its all good dude. you have every right to post on any thread. i dont run this site.so odnt worry about it lol.

bumppppppp.

I’d say probably in. And just for the record, doesn’t Rutgers use rolling admissions?

Yeah man I believe they do.Thanks for your opinion. I really appreciate any replies I get.

Seriously, don’t even stress about it. You will most definitely get into Rutgers.

Btw, the updated app will be uploaded in Oct :)

Does Rutgers look at senior grades? Just wondering.
