Chances at Stanford

Alright, I don't have much info to give right now... but I'm asking questions right now.

Does Stanford look at High Schools and understand when it's not a "college-prep/competitive" type high school?

Say I go to a public HS with only 5-7 students, class size of 500+, who get 4.0 GPAs unweighted.

Say I get a 3.8+ GPA unweighted.

Say I took only a few AP courses since my school only offered Junior/Senior year.

Say I score only a 2000 on the SAT and SATii.

Now, say I make top 100 nationally in an event or two for a sport (in my age group).

Do I have a chance at all of getting in? I'd like good replies and reasons why please.
Should I have 3 years or 4 years of a foreign language (I'm in my third year of a foreign language).

Oh yeah, I'm out of state.

depends what sport. if it is ping pong, then maybe not. unless youare valuable for your sport skills. then no.

i don't know why youre withholding so much info...
but your numbers are low, but fine if you can get recruited for your sport

"only 5-7 students, class size of 500+, who get 4.0 GPAs unweighted"

That's a ton of kids to get 4.0 UW GPAs, at least where I go. Anyway, have you looked at any of the other posts on this forum? If not, go check the other chances threads, then make a post that is helpful and specific.
