Ok I don't want to shoot too high but I think I might make it into this program with my stats.

AP Latin virgil
Honors world Lit

and a slack class of some sort or AP macroeconomics depending if the class forms in the fall. The spring semeter class for this sort will definatly be slack, I need to prepare for AP exams.

For my EC's:

Grade 4: Distinction
Grade 5: Merit

I am a Leo Director in the Chinese-American Leos of Atlanta (commuity service club the teenager form of the Lions club)
Next year I will be board member, treasurer.

I also have a leadership position in Commuity Outreach, I help out on Elementry schools teaching kids how to do math and reading.
Next year I will be vice-president

I have about 150 hours of community service and counting.

I am in the Debate Team Secretary and will be president next year.
I have been to about 11 debate tourments and have placed in 4 of them.
4 Quarterfinalist positions

I also have a treasurer and sectary position for Junior State of America.
I made a 640 on my verbal and a 680 on on math in the SAT.

It looks like my GPA after these 3 weeks will be a 4.0 weighted and and 3.7 unweighted

If I get 5 A's and 1 B in the fall of my senior year my GPA will be a 4.1 unweighted and a 3.8 unweighted.

My class rank is a 110/600 and I am an asian male.

how can you have a 4.0 weighted with two C's sophmore year?

*If I get 5 A's and 1 B in the fall of my senior year my GPA will be a 4.1 weighted and a 3.8 unweighted.

an honors class A is worth 4.5 and an AP is worth a 5.
A B is worth 3.5 in an honors class while a B in AP is worth a 4.

UGA recalculates your GPA based on their own scale, which only awards a + .5 per grade for AP classes. Thus when they say their average entering freshman honors GPA average is 4.07, it's on that grade scale.

You look decently on-track, but you might want to bump that SAT score up to over 1400. Make sure you get all A's/B's for your final semester this year and your first semester next year and visit the honors program to talk to them and make sure they know who you are. Also, I know Walton's a beast, but you're probably going to need a higher class rank than that. Being asian will help though since they're very much into all non-white students.

Trying to pull up SAT at the moment plan to take 10 practice SAT altogether, I am on number 5 now.

Class rank will go up with GPA, don't worry:)

For the kind of school that Walton is, im upset at their weighting scale. Under that scale I would have over a 4.0 too.

Woot I got a gold medal for the national Latin Exam year 3.
