No SAT IIs yet, I'll get them done I promise lol. Probably taking Math IIC, Biology, Chemistry, and US History.

Awards & Honors

Various academic competition awards, just came to a school that did this recently, so only at regional level so far.

Top Student Award (11): Teachers deliberate over who is awesome. Apparently I am.

Community Service

50 hours @ local homeless shelter: I hold a management/leadership postion, that's all you're getting for leadership but I think it's cool that it wasn't picked by my peers who think I'm good looking.

+/- 200 hours tutoring

Local Hospital: Going to apply as a volunteer over winter break.

Extracurricular Activities

Music (my "passion"): I've been playing for ages, have a tape of awesome compositions on both instruments.

Academic team(11-12): I do math, science, and computer science. Only was able to start this year because I'm at a new school.

Other clubs: Habitat for Humanity (10-12), National Honor Society (11-12, only time you can get in at my school), Math Honor Society, Science Honor Society.

Random Hooks: Extremely attractive, rarely study, totally charming. Okay those were just a joke since I don't have a five page list of ECs like everyone else here.

Athletic abilities: 6:30 mile, I'll have to work on that. Can do loads of sit ups, 100 in a minute. I have a load of energy, and I mean a load. I can pull an all nighter and still be bouncing off the walls.

Varsity tennis for one ear.

Chances?

Coast Guard (first choice)
Naval
Air Force
West Point
Merchant Marine

Aw, come on guys.

I'd be shocked if you didn't get into all of them (except maybe Naval because it's getting tougher every year). Good luck, and thanks man for your future service to our country, it really means a lot to all Americans.

Your SATs, GPA, and course load are in the range but the service academies also look for leadership and success in team sports. The acceptance rates are incredibly low. As you may know, entrance into the service academies requires a nomination from a Congressman or US Senator. So, if you are seriously interested you may want to make contact with the admission offices asap. My S. received a few contacts from the Naval Academy (athletic recruit) but decided against it.

I got something from Air Force once I think. In fact I've gotten a few things from them, and one from Naval. None from Coast Guard though, that's my top choice.

Good morning!

Bumpity bump bump bumpity bump bump look at Frosty go.

you need a little more athletic and leadership ECs. And just a little. With what you have, I think you're in.

I need to get back in sports, but it's a bit late.

So anyone want to tell me reach/match/safety for each academy? Everybody's just saying I've got a shot at all of them.

MM- safety
Westpoint - safety/match
Coastguard - match
USAF - match
Naval - match-reach

Thanks guys, any other opinions?

Come on!!!!!!!

Bump.........

Come on!!!

I think you have a great shot! :)

Which ones? Specify my chances at each one.

Hello???????????
