Thanks....please chance!!!

And I’m roughly around the top 12 percent with roughly 500 students in my class
My school is very well known to many top colleges in the U.S.

Very good for the most part. What are your SAT scores? I would also work on getting your GPA up.

^ I bet he is using his state mandated ACT test score for the application. An ACT of 30 is around the 35% of admission stat (mid 50% is 29-33 last year). I am estimating his UW GPA to be 3.7 in a 4.0 scale which is also below average (3.83 last year). Considering both below average and for oos state, your chance would be high match to low reach for LSA. You are better match for UIUC and UWI though.

Thanks a lot guys, Ruotsi, I am only taking the act instead of the sat. Very few kids at my school end up taking the sat and the act seems like a better fit for me.

Also, if I can get my act up to a 32, would michigan become more of a high match?

probably a good shot

did you take the national ACT?

Ok, thanks and yes that was the national one.

Match. Although I’m not familiar with your gpa grading scale

Oh it’s calculated out of a 100. I think it compares to a 3.7 unweighted and a 4.1ish weighted

I’d say Low Reach to High Match for Umich.

Like billscho said, UIUC is a closer match and it’s just as good of a school.

If I got my act up to a 32, would it be more of a higher match, or still a low reach?

With ACT 32, it would be at around 65-70%, while the GPA is at around 35%. You should be high match.

Ok cool, thanks for chancing.
