Hello everyone I am a 18 year old Guitarist who has just finished up his college auditions for a jazz performance major. I would appreciate anyones imput on my situation and chances at these schools. here are some of the schools I applied to and how my auditions went at them.

Peabody- Went In the audition room and there was no rhythm section so they made be play alone with a metrenome which i was very prepared to to(thank god) I thaught it was ok. But i really do not think that really got an idea of what kind of musician I am by that. They also did not ask any questions. but stated "nice job" at the end. Is this a bad sign? Also when i flubbed a part at my audition i looked at them with a smirk and then knew I Knew what i did and smiled back so it wasn't a total disaster.

S.U.N.Y Purchase NY- A really good audition. not to sound full of my self or anything. But I walked out feeling great. The teacher also gave me great compliments as well as the students accompanying me. he asked me some questions on my first choice of schools and music background. when I told him that I was classically trained he was very impressed also. I think I have a good chance here.

William Patterson university- audition by tape.

UNT- wasn't accepted into university to audition for music program. sucks

also my grades are not too hot. I got a 950 on my SAT and 2.5 gpa....how much will this affect me at these schools even if the teacheres liked me? I'm very worried about this.
