So these are the schools that I'm applying to and I'm majoring in accounting:
1. University of Notre Dame
2. New York University
3. Boston College
4. State University of New York at Binghamton
5. Penn State University (Harrisburg)
6. University of Illnois at Urbana-Champaign
7. University of Michigan (Ann Arbor)

I plan on taking the Math 1 and Literature SAT IIs on Nov 1. So what are my chances at actually getting into these schools? And are these good choices?

If you're not in NY, I wouldn't say Bing is a safety. Your list is incredibly top heavy, and no offense, but there's very little chance you get into BC/NYU/ND/UMich, and probably Illinois too.

yeah i do live in NY, so is Bing a good school for accounting? I know that the Big 4 recruit from there, so I guess it's good.

and no offense taken, i mean i know that i'm not going to get into BC/NYU/ND/UMich easily, but i thought that there may have been a slight chance, lol

State University of New York at Binghamton--Match

Penn State University (Harrisburg)--Safe Match

University of Illnois at Urbana-Champaign--Match to Slight Reach

P.S. Also consider Penn State Erie, University of Pittsburgh, Indiana University at Bloomington, Boston University (not Boston College), University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Oregon, Bentley University (near Boston, MA), and Ohio State.

^Are you serious? NYU, Boston College, Notre Dame and Uni Michigan are Reaches? Wow, then I'm going to be overly confident now...

P.S.: IHateCollegeApps, you and I seem to be very similar! I'm thinking of applying to 4 of which you've listed as well.

And yes, I agree, you should consider Boston Uni and Indiana Uni @ Bloomington. Indiana doesn't require too high of a SAT score and still sits on the top 20 undergrad business courses list (according to businessweek).

For those who are considering applying to some of these schools, get your application in by this Friday (October 31st). I know that is the cutoff for free scholarship money for merit scholarships from Indiana (well, you still can get money later, but the amounts go way down), and I think the same is also true for Ohio State and Penn State.

And keep in mind that all of these schools have online applications--so don't worry about the mail-in time--since that doesn't apply.

Yeah, I've decided not to apply to University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), instead i'm applying to Bentley University. I think that I may have a good chance of getting in. My dream school is Notre Dame, and it's going to take some luck, but hey you never know.

and i doubt that i'll be getting any scholarship money =/

and veshch, you've just become my enemy, since you're direct competition...lol jk =]

I think U of I is a reach, your GPA is not going to get you into the school if you list your intended major as business. You could get in through another school and switch your major, but I had a 3.4uw GPA and 31 ACT, this did not get me into their b-school last year and this year is gonna be tougher.
