well, these are basically my top 4 schools and although they arnt the ivy leagues that most people are posting about I was just wondering what people thought my chances were.

A&M (college station)
austin college
trinity university (san antonio)
university of washington

my GPA is a 3.4 ish unweighted, thats just an estimate, could be a little lower

scored a 28 on the ACT

played varsity golf and tennis 2 years, captain of the tennis team my senior year

class VP my senior year

2 AP classes, and several honors classes

strong ECs and good recs

very good essays

and i guess my hook is that my dad died when i was in 8th grade

A&M and austin are matches. I'm from texas so i'm pretty familiar with those schools too. Depending on your sat score, trinity and uw could be matches

oh yeah, i have a question, for a&m, i sent them my sat scores the first time I took it, i got
Critical Reading 620
Math 530
Writing 590

and the second time i took it I got a 670 on reading, a 580 on math and a 550 on writing, I sent them my ACT score which is a 28 but should I also send them the better SAT to show them ive improved?

oh yeah, and i forgot to ask, what exactly are the probability %s for a match? would that be like, 70%? and how accurate is princetonreview.com's assesment if a school is a match or a safety? because they told me wheaton was a match and i got rejected from early action

I think you'll be awaiting an acceptance from all of your schools.
