Mainly because I was born in St. Louis and I've been to WashU Campus many times... but I don't see why you'd insult the school.

How on earth did you get such good standardized test scores if you couldn't break down my post and read it correctly?

Please note the transition in the third paragraph, "In all seriousness now."

This now suggests that you achieved your standing by being OCD and attending prep classes, which will decrease your chances some. But, I think that you still have a shot at getting into the top 4 you mentioned.

Georgetown: Match
Colum, Stan, Prince: IMHO, competitive at all three, slightly more competitive at Stan and Prince but just barely. I think being in top 10% the rank won't matter asm uch, and your GPA is avg. for columbia and your 10-12 GPA is above avg. for stan and prince

Okay, now my final question I guess is should I apply to Columbia ED or Stanford SCEA? Those are my top two, I know I'd go to either if accepted early. I know Stanford SCEA would have a better chance, but could I get in with my GPA being ~3.9 W and ~3.75 UW Freshmen-First term of Senior year? (Term ends before the deadline for ED) or should i just stick with the ~4.1 and ~3.93 GPA of Soph-Sr and take my chances at Stanford? - I guess I want to go to Columbia the most and if I could get in with that GPA i'll ED it.

Having attended Columbia (and then transferring out), I guess I don;t underatand how someone could like Columbia, Pton, Stanford and Gtown. The last three are SO different in every way from Columbia. Why did you pick these four? They have so little in common.

I know it's a weird list, but I guess I've heard from friends and counselors all three have good Poli Sci majors- also, I love New York, visited there many times and still love it. Stanford I lived there for 6 weeks, studied there, basically in love with the school because it's just amazing, I guess thats why those are my main choices-

Actually your odds are better at Stanford and Princeton than even at a lower Ivy--mostly because these two schools don't count your "crummy"--relatively speaking--freshman year.

Look, you are 3.9+ UW, with a 4.15 to 4.25 W for those two years, 5s in all your APs and a 2300+ SAT score so far--and decent ECs. I'd shoot for the four you mentioned (Stanford, Princeton, Columbia and Georgetown), plus I'd apply for Brown and Penn and Carnegie Mellon or Chicago (as a backup/safety). I suppose you might consider Georgetown your safety--but I don't, since you don't fit their profile. (you have unbalanced GPA scores, no catholic background, and your best skills are in the technical area yet you are looking for a pre-law program)
