chances at top schools/suggestions/insults?

This is the first chances thread I've done... Basically I'm looking for a really good school, and I mean a really good school, something that is probably too good for me to get in. I have a really... um... special, outgoing personality and a knack for writing that doesn't absolutely come off on paper, but in terms of numbers and lists...
where might I be looking come senior year (I'm starting junior year in August).

Everything I did from freshman and sophomore years (and junior year).

GPA

3.95 unweighted

Am a teachers’ pet, will get good references; this is because I honestly like my teachers and am not a sleazy liar just trying to win their admiration.

Parents
Mom: UC Berkeley, USC (studied and worked)
Dad: Illinois, Art Center

Private girls’ school in Los Angeles with good connections at USC, NYU, and similar schools; probably won’t qualify for financial aid.

Have you won any awards for your writing? You might look into that for the coming year. What are you looking to major in? Writing? Also, where are you looking to go? Do you want to stay on the West Coast?

You are a bit early. The junior year is very important and so is the Senior course load. Some schools don't even look at Freshman year.

impressive PSAT score for a sophomore : D
you are on the right track

you're way too early bud. calm down. you haven't even done your most important year/any SAT testing. just keep up the good work and come back in 365 days.

Dear everyone, who have all been positive,
I get the early thing a lot! My school is really serious about the whole "do the best you can thing" and I guess for me that translated into "you're late!"

schools I like are Chicago, Yale (yeah, right, though), Reed, McGill (in Montreal), and Kenyon. I'm a very talented writer but I've never submitted anything for competitions mainly because I never hear about them and my personal narrative stuff is usually very out there. But honestly I want to study economics and theatre, and work in higher-level emergency management (FEMA or something??).

Wow I do sound a little early.
But on that note, do you have anything to recommend for my junior year seeing as I can make it as productive as possible?

keep your grades up.
don't just get into EC's to pad your resume. AdCom's will see right through that.
if you're the type that likes to study alot, get an SAT book.
visit a couple colleges to get a feel or what you're looking for.
get in as many ap classes as you can.
have fun
