What kind of school could I get into?

I'm still trying to get a feel for which colleges to aim for and which to cross of my list, so some help would be seriously appreciated!

My Info on Grades/Academics:

I currently have a 4.0 unweighted, and a little over that weighted.

I'm in the top 5% of my class for sure, not sure if rank actually matters.

Throughout my high school grades I will have taken.. 8 APs? 2 of those are half year, though.

APs I'll have taken are:

-AP Chem (senior)
-AP Lit and Comp (senior)
-AP Spanish Lang (senior)
-AP Calc (senior)
-AP Lang and Comp (junior)
-AP Gov't (junior) 1/2 yr
-AP Economics (junior) 1/2 yr
-AP US History (sophomore)

I take honors when it's offered, but some honors weren't offered so I couldn't take them.

I haven't taken the ACT yet, but I'm aiming for a 32 or 33. Also hoping to be National Merit Finalist or Semi-Finalist.

My school really isn't that good, I'll be honest there. I think the schooling is decent, but there isn't a lot of competition for the top ranks. (School size is about 1700 I think, my class has 360 kids)

5 years of Spanish by graduation (inc. AP)

I've tested out of classes in middle school and over the summer so I have over the amount of credits needed to graduate

My Extracurriculars:

I don't have many, so I think that's a flaw. :(

Orchestra during school (in the top orchestra for 3 years) and after school with volunteer activities/competitions etc.

We have a freshman 'link' program so I'm one of the helpers for them

Various community service things

Track (I'll have 3 years by the end assuming I stick with it. I don't really like it so I don't have good times or anything- not really caring about making varsity)

Cross Country (possibly 2 years, debating whether to do it or not)

NHS
-Babysitting (some volunteer some paid)

With stuff like this, could I get any scholarships, and what school could I go to?

Tulane perhaps… USC if you make NMF.

There really are only two schools where rank actually holds a lot of weight: UT-Austin and TAMU. Are you a Texas resident?

@Catria -

Not a Texas resident, actually was considering TAMU, though. As a NMF could I get any scholarships?

Why I mentioned USC specifically as far as NMF is concerned is because USC has an automatic half-tuition scholarship for all NMFs.

TAMU should be considered a low match or a safety at this point.

Oooh, okay. I didn’t know that!

Is there a list that shows what schools give NMF scholarships? I tried looking for one but I couldn’t find any.
