wow you are responding to your own post way too much...

you need to stop dwelling on your less than stellar ACT score and where it will get you and TAKE THE SAT!!!! Based on ur PSAT your score will be around a 2250.. MUCH better than your 27 ACT. Seriously look at UC schools since you are instate, and there are other good ones besides Berkeley.

the thing is, I don't really like the SAT because colleges see every one you take. I just want to now right now where I can get into, not in the future. That way I know what to work on. And the only reason I'm responding too much is because if I don't, nobody will see this thread, so I have to post something so that people will see it.

I also keep on responding because I come up with new things to add every now and then.

Take the SAT and I have no doubt it will be sufficient to get into McGill, 225, keep it going!

thanks for the advice. I have a question. What is considered good for the colleges I listed on the SAT.

legacy wont be a factor in canadian schools

darn, I was hoping it would be.

Here is a new thing to add, over summer, I am going to take two math courses at local university. They are: Linear Algebra and Differential equations, and Calculus 3. In the fall, I will take a course in C and C++ for programming, and another advanced math class. I am now thinking about going to do a math major in college. Do my advanced math skills help me get to a better school. I am really good at math, have lots of awards in competitions. And, I have a high gpa in my math classes. Will this get me to any good schools?

thats really advanced. I think you could get in to berkeley with that. Keep taking more advanced math classes.

thanks. Where else can I get to.

bump. bump.
