Chances at UCs

I am currently a junior at a California high school and wondering about my chances at the UCs. I am a white female and unsure of what I will major in, but potentially something to do with the law. I’m more interested in potential options at this point in time.

Unweighted GPA: 3.87
Weighted GPA: 4.0

I am in the top 10% of my class (for weighted GPA)
I have yet to take the SAT but my most recent practice SAT score was 2010 (660 M, 690 R, 660 W) and I’m hoping to raise it to 2100 if possible.

Important Classes:

Math 2 (Covered algebra two through precalculus at an honors level – hardest class at our school)
Chemistry Honors
American Lit Honors (Currently taking)
APUSH (Currently taking)
AB Calculus (Currently taking)
AP English Lit (Senior Year)
Physio Honors (Senior Year)
Biology Honors (Currently taking)
AP English Lang (Senior Year)

Extra Curriculars:

Mock Trial (for 3 years, I plan – hopefully I’ll get an officer position in senior year; I’m fairly confident. I am the court reporter and won best article last year)
Track & Field (for 4 years, I think I’ll be a co-team captain in senior year; my friend and I have worked this out & our coach agreed so…)
Theater (Three years; Assistant House Manager)

I also currently have about 75 volunteer hours and hope to have at least 200 by next year

After Junior year, calculate your UC GPA: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
When you have a definite SAT score and UC GPA, then repost and you can be chanced. Right now all that can be said is you are on the right track and keep up the good work.

Thank you for commenting. It’s good to know that I am at least going in the right direction, so I appreciate your input.

So far, so good. Stay on pace and there will be MANY doors open to you.
