Chances at UCSD/SDSU/USC?

<p>Hi these are my stats, I would love to know if I have a chance of going to these schools, especially the two public ones due to the reduction of admission % in CA. My dream school would be UCSD and to major in Communications. </p>

Minority (Chinese & Vietnamese)

Weighted GPA: 4.12
Unweighted GPA: 3.69
GPA on 12-point scale: 11.6538
SAT I: 1700 (taking again) Math 580, Reading 570, Writing 550
SAT II: Not taken yet but I'm taking the Lit & US History ones.
150+ of Community Service Hours
Freshman Class Secretary, Junior Class President, & Senior Class Vice President
Member of Key Club & NHS
Class Representatives all four years
Literary Magazine Staffer (last year), Editor-in-Chief (this year)
Played Tennis for 2 years
Taken/Taking: Pre-AP Algebra I, II, Geometry, & Pre-Calc. Pre-AP English I, II, AP English III, APUSH, AP Euro, AP Physics, Pre-ap Biology & Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Psychology. </p>

<p>Any chances? I would love the input :) And which school would be better for a Public Relations Major? Thanks!!!</p>

<p>Honestly, I think you’re going to have a tough time being out of state with your sat scores - possibly SDSU, but not UCSD - you need to check your grades with the core curriculum requirements for the UC’s. USC is a private, so in-state doesn’t matter. USC would be the prime choice for pr, but again with your SATs it might be tough. However your first generation/ minority status could help ALOT at USC.
