Chances at University of Rochester

So, I am planning on applying early decision at the U of R. I want to major in psychology.

Academics:
Public High School in Upstate NY
Class Rank- 5/84 (as of now, I am hoping to be third)
SATs- CR 680 Math 630
SAT IIs math I 600, English 610
Hardest curriculum at my school
by graduation I will have 5 AP classes, 3 Honors, 2 university in High School, 1 community college class
I will be taking classes at a local hospital this upcoming school year. It is a health careers based program that requires an application and interview.

ECs:
yearbook 4 years, editor 2
art club 3 years
NHS 2 years
Leo club 2 years
4 years of volunteering at a local hospital 250+ hours
other random volunteering
I also did a season of JV soccer and a season of Varsity track, just for kicks
I also work on the weekends and in the summer.

My recommendations should be great and I am not worried about my essay, though I don't yet have a topic. I had an interview, it was okay. I would have like to talk more but I think they were trying to get through a bunch of kids that day and my interviewer did not ask me to talk more about anything and then it was over...

Oh and I am taking 2 more SAT IIs and the Act (kind of for fun)

I'd say it's a match.

thanks. anyone else??

I think that you will get in. You have a solid and consistent record. Last year, I was surprised that someone on this forum was accepted with a rather shaky record. If you are concerned about financial aid, I have heard that they give less to ED applicants than to RD applicants.

You have a good chance at Rochester.

Thanks for the replies. I have become quite obsessed with this. hopefully I will stop constantly worrying about college once the school starts next week and I will have other things I can focus my anxiety on.

Yeah you have a great shot. Especially if you're applying ED
