Yeah You're into VT, it's really not that hard. Be top 20% and write a good essay. Maybe your ECs help out your low GPA. If you're applying to a VT college other than engineering, you're in!

I also applied to the University of Vermont I have a 3.0gpa unweighted and 1140SAT 580verbal 560math and in top 40% of 310 kids. I was involved in key club my first 2 years have rowed for my high school all 4 years rowed competivitly over the summer for a club and volunteered for my church held down a job for a year and a half and was in ski club. I am pretty sure I wont get into UCONN even though I live in CT and my guidance counseler said I probably would get into UVM. I am also applying to Temple URI, Bentley College. chances at these? also any other schools you think I should apply to? All replies appreciated thanks

Yeah, I think you have a great chance at Tech! I know so many people who love it there, and a lot of my friends will probably be there next year, so good luck!

I think your set at URI as long as it's not pharmacy (i applied there too). UVM probably, but I know a kid that got waitlisted with 32 act/ 1400 sat. If you were in state it owuld be a dif. story, but i still think you ahve a reall good chance. btw, i live 4 mins. from campus if you have any questions.

I have some questions actually. I really like Burlington when I visited the school can you give me the insiders guide to it? Also whats there to do there and whats your opinions of the students

I don't know what kind of info you wanna know about insiders guide. There's defintly going to be a lot more to the school then what they show you on campus, and this is a good thing. Skiing is also only an hour (30 mins. if you want shchiesty snow) away if you like that. There's a lot of hippies there to be honest, and a lot of weed if that's what you need. It's real easy to get involved if you want. A kid I went to HS with is doing the scoreboard at Bball games, and he's only a freshman. Besides the hippies there's a lot of normal kids, and it's defintly not all Vermonters. More than half is out of state, so it's a good mix. When I am downtown I always see cars from like Arizona and California, it's a bit odd, but they're all here. Any more quetions PM me.
