chances at wharton? will chance back if requested

I have a high school GPA of 4.2 weighted, 3.98 unweighted
My class rank is 14 out of 345
ACT composite=31
SAT composite=2130
SAT Math1=690
SAT Literature=700
SAT US History=700

I was commended as a national merit scholar for the PSAT and am a National Hispanic Scholar.

I have taken 5 AP classes out of the 7 offered at my school and got 4s and 5s

I volunteered 135 hours for a local Congressman and was then hired by him as a field representative.

My officer positions include: Olympus club class representative 10th grade, Olympus club treasurer 11th grade, FBLA vice president 11th grade, DECA vice president 11th grade.

The activities i was involved with include: AcDec, quiz bowl, FBLA, DECA, NHS, History Day, Model UN, Olympus, Stock Market Game, National Finance Challenge (3rd in state for 2 years), and National Economics Challenge (3rd in state for 2 years, 1st in state 1 year which put me at 35th in the nation).

Misc: I've visited Penn 3 times and sat in on an econ course at wharton, am from a state that sends under 10 kids a year to Penn, and took math courses over the summer so I could take AP AB calc before graduation specifically because wharton wants kids to have calc.

Can you please tell me what you think my odds at getting in are on a scale of 1-10 and offer any advice you might have for areas of improvement?

Uhm, right now…your test scores…I take it you are a rising senior?

i would take math level 2 early next year

SAT Math1=690

This will definitely keep you out.

ACT composite=31

Sorry but that will also keep you out. Receiving a 31 means you have some sub-scores that are in the high 20s and some in the low 30s. You have to know that Wharton Applicants have great ACT/SAT scores. They score 800 and 36 sub-scores on their Math because it is the easiest. I good score on the ACT for Wharton is a 33-34 (34 is best) to be honest, and that only puts you at a competitive level, that doesn’t mean you are going to get in.

Geographics could help you if you live somewhere Penn doesn’t receive a lot of applications (for example, North Dakota). I think your Hispanic heritage could help as well. But I agree with the others that wrote before me; try to take SATII Math Two and to achieve above a 700 on the SAT Math section.
