I intend to apply ED

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am to apply to Carnegie Mellon University.

anyone??????????????/

I think you have a really good chance at CMU, but it depends on the major b/c CompSci is really hard to get into. Btw, what is your unweighted GPA b/c I've never heard of a 5.4 GPA?! And is out of a possible 4.0?

anyone else? Does anyone know CMU's ED acceptance rate?

ED-i think you have like a 90% chance of acceptance
RD-prolly about 40% chance

What is your unweighted GPA?

4.0 maybe, I'm not really sure? Any way 40% chance RD, really? What can I do to improve my chances RD?

40% seems pretty low to me. At my school last year, 12 students applied to CMU and 10 were accepted with averages of: 3.73 GPA and 1420 SAT score. Therefore, I don't think you have a 40% chance RD. I'm not sure where 'neelesh' got that information from, but I doubt it's accurate.
