What are my chances to CMU?

Chances in CMU RD?

I am a student from a small public school. I don't know what my chances are at all. I really want to go there. Ever since i was little, I have wanted to go there. Its really close to my house, and its important for me to be close to home. So, can you guys tell me what my chances are?
My stats:

SAT I: V: 600 (ouch), M:670 W: 630
I am going to take my SAT II's soon
ranked 4 in 240.
weighted GPA: 5.6
My EC's:
I've taken the following each four years.
Yearbook- Editor and Chief
Newspaper- Assistant Editor
French Club- member for four years
SADD- President
Key Club- member for four years.
1000+ hospital volunteer hours
50+ library volunteer hours
NHS(1 year)
and took a French course in a local college
I attended the summer school of excellence and got a superior scientific paper writing award from it.
I also attend an enrichment program for gifted students at a local college.

Please tell my a percent chance I have in getting into CMU RD and what I can do to increase my chances.
Thanx.

Good GPA and rank but your SAT I should be raised. I've noticed that CMU cares quite a lot about the SATs. Your E.C.'s are nice and really show a focus for your leadership and familiarity with eloquence. This is also a bit detrimental to your application as the question will be: Why was your SAT Writing/Verbal not better with all your literary accomplishments?

Raise your SATs to increase your chances. Even HSS kids tend to have have 1300+ avg SATs. If you are applying to Tepper/ECE you should be in the 1450s to be safe and for IS/CIT/MCS around 1400+s. I'm guessing you are not applying to the School of Computer Science so we won't worry about that.

I stopped at Editor and Chief lol
And I cant wrap my head around all these crazy GPA systems.

Agreed. Everything but the SAT. Bring up your math by 50 points and your verbal by 100. Then it should be a match.
