What are my chances at a school like Texas A&M?

Well…if you aren’t in the top 10% of your HS class, your admission is less than certain.

@thumper1

I have auto/academic admission (due to 25% and SAT scores), it just my major I am worried about.

Even if I was <10%, engineering review is holistic (auto, academic, and review count the same) not first come, first serve, so it wouldn’t matter either way.

So…apply and see.

@thumper1

That’s the best non-advice advice I’ve received /s

Seriously though, that says nothing about my chances.

I commented on your chances. You want engineering…and I believe that if you were in the top 10% your chances would be more likely.

My opinion.

@thumper1

I don’t want to sound sarcastic again but

I mean, obviously…

If any one of my stats (GPA, rank, EC’s) was better, then I mean of course my chances should improve.

Anyways, thanks for your advice good sir, don’t want to cause any drama or anything.
