I know transfer is even harder to predict than regular admissions, but give me some ideas however you'd do it.

SATI: 1480 SATII: 710, 720, 750
High School GPA: 3.4ish with upward trend at competitive hs
College GPA: 3.5-3.6 at a top-20 college (would have been higher if I hadn't been ill for most of one semester)
ECs: VP of environmental club
State Coordinator for environmental org
(active with) college democrats
Research Experience through competitive summer internship
Temporary Social Worker
Started campus chapter of tutor/mentor program for adolescent
underpriviliged girls
I draw (a little, not great but decently) -unsure whether I should send in slides or simply be cute and illustrate my essays

If it helps, I'm from a hillbilly impovershed town in the midwest and I can explain something about this in why I had trouble in hs. (geographic diversity?)

The Colleges I'm looking at (and my guesses for how they'd group in terms of difficulty to be admitted as a transfer):

I think your own estimations seem pretty decent. No one here is going to arrive at anything more than a rough approximation, and you seem to have given it a good go already yourself.

I wonder, however, about your classification of Brown beneath Bowdoin, Davidson, Carleton, and Swarthmore. I think Brown's transfer rate is deceptively high, and likely just as difficult to get into as a transfer as these other schools with smaller applicant pools. Save for that, your list looks about as precise as we'll arrive at.

I am not asking for how difficult these schools are to get into (what I have posted above myself), I am asking if I seem like a reasonable transfer candidate for these schools?

Let me be more specific: IWannaIvy, what is the matter with my ECs? Not enough awards? I have a few leadership postions... Do you feel very good essays would tip the balance in my favor? Brown is easier to transfer into than it is to be accepted there as a freshman. Bowdoin, Davidson, and Swarthmore seem tougher.

Escape dont listen to these nuts, most of them haven't been admitted to top universities before and dont know what the f they are talking about. As someone that was admitted to a number of top universities as a freshman and someone who attends a susposed top 15 university with the ivy label, i think your ECs are fine and you are a competitive transfer candidate for all of the schools.

First of all, why would you even doubt your ability to get into swarthmore when you were admitted last year as a transfer as you have said. Obviously, you are good enough for swarthmore. I think that you could get into Brown as well. Relax and things will work out fine. Don't listen to some bull from ppl who are at 3rd tier schools trying to transfer into first tier places and think they know what it takes. Well, to be honest with you, ECs for college are not as important as they were for high school applicants. They care a lot more about your potential to suceed in a rigorous college setting. As I spoke to the director at Northwestern about transfers, he said they are looking for students who can survive and will not fail out. Obviously, you have proved that you can handle the work.

"dont listen to these nuts" - thanks for that. I think that is a bit harsh.

To answer your question, I think that your EC's are fine. Make sure you play up your involvement, ie did you just attend Udems meetings or were you the Chair of some iniative like John Edwards "oppurtunity rocks" to help alleviate urban poverty. As was also mentioned by my superior, I think that college EC's are'nt very important but the reason why i say you are an outside chance at Brown is because they look at GPA quite seriously and though a 3.5 is competative its not a lock. I thnk their average is 3.7 odd. My advise would be to keep working on the GPA, then spend some time on your essays and get to know your reference professors well.

Nothing that makes a person go WOW and if you look at the people applying to Brown or any Ivy league for that matter, reading their stats will make you say WOW.

ecape, your EC's are great and will help you in getting into those schools. Brown is a long-shot for many people, but you are definitely in the running for a seat. Of all factors, I think your GPA might be the weakest, though it's certainly not low enough to exclude you from admission.

Don't listen to IwannaIvy; I think you've got a fine shot. Best of luck!

For the most part, 'wowing' is not a necessary condition to gaining admission.
