chances?

Hey, I just have no sense of the competition in the transfer pool...
I went to a very rigorous new england boarding school and had a 3.8 and took 8 ap's (got 2 5's, 5 4's and one 3... the apmusic listening owned me) over my four years at school. My sat's were 2240 and I had three satII's over 700 (don't remember exactly what they were).. Nothing particularly special in terms of ec's... I sang in various groups, was involved in the yearbook, played a varsity sport. Right now I'm at Bowdoin and have found that I need an urban setting. I will likely have a 3.6-3.8 after fall term, and have gotten involved in the literary publication, the finance club and worked in a web design job 8 hours a week on campus. Can anyone tell me with some authority whether I will have a decent chance at say.... Harvard, Yale, Brown, Penn, Georgetown, or maybe Vanderbilt? Does being a white male from new england screw me over for those ivies?

im in the same boat u are except for the new england white male part hahahha

not necessarily, although it might depend on your major
but a lack of ECs is not very promising
as for not having a sense of the pool, no one will...heck, no one except you and 5 others could apply to harvard, or 300 kids with 4.0s who have found a cancer-causing gene could be applying...the only way to know is APPLY

What boarding school? (I understand if you'd rather not say; I'm just curious.)

hhahha only kids on cc are going to apply for transfer

anyone else have any opinions?
