Chances.....be honest

I have researched WUSL, it is a good safety and you could get in. Williams, I don't know, Yale/Princeton you will probably be waitlisted, Gerogetown is a stretch, but is within reach. Definitely apply to Williams if that is your first choice, though.

It pays to be optimistic.

with a great hook and outstanding essays, you wont be waitlisted anywhere. Geez, 2260 + near perfect GPA + many APs + okay ECs -> waitlist?? I dont think so

No. WashU is not a safety. It's a match, and much tougher to get into than G'town. Princeton and Yale are reaches (whether you apply ED or RD) especially if you're not in the top 5% of your class, Williams is a match, and G'town is a low match.

I really don't think that Williams is quite as easy to get into as most folks on this board might have you believe.

A GPA of 95.4 ranks about a 2.3 on the 4.0 scale

Just letting you know.

joseph how did you come upon that figure? I was under the impression it was at least a 3.8 if not higher

I am not familiar with this type of scaling, but say it is out of a possible 100. A 3.7-3.8 sounds reasonable to me, and his test scores seem to agree with my idea.

can that scale vary?
