By choosing a specific major, will my chance be increased?
If so,wich majors increase more?
Thanks!

No. You should choose a major which reflects your interest.

Choosing a less common major (like Astrophysics or Slavic Studies) instead of a very popular one (like Econ or Woody Woo) will make you stand out a teensy bit more, but it definitely will not make or break your application. There's certainly not a formula, though.
If you are set on selecting an unusual major for the purposes of your application, I would at least pick one in your general area of interest.

I applied as an engineer because I could write another essay so they could get a better picture of me. I am still not sure if I will end up there or in the regular liberal arts program.
