Chances Class of 2022

As the proud parent of a recent grad I’m blown away by the application and admission stats for the Class of 2021! Great news for those holding a Buckeye degree.

S2 will be applying for admission to the Class of 2022 this coming summer/fall. Would appreciate feedback on his chances and merit aid thoughts. OOS, 3.85 GPA at competitive private HS (doesn’t rank), 31 ACT, 6 Honors and 6 APs (4’s on two AP tests and 5 on one so far), two sport varsity athlete, service trip to Central America and Habititat for Humanity, summer and part time job since jr. year.
Thanks and Go Bucks!

It does appear stats are continuing to rise for admission. The stats you listed sound very good. It may depend on what major he is applying to. If it were my child I would have him apply as early as possible well before the EA deadline. If he gets in I would assume he would most definitely get the national buckeye scholarship most likely coupled with at the very least the trustees.

Good chance of admission, but depending on what the major is, it might be slightly harder to get in. I think stats for this year will probably be slightly higher than last year but not by much.

Thanks @bhs1978 and @nasteeR Thinking maybe Fisher, but not sure yet…he will keep plugging along to finish senior year strong and hope for the best (admission and National Buckeye +!)

It states on the Webste that admissions are NOT made with major in mind. You are accepted to the university first - then your major.
