<p>I would say in. If your worried aply under less impacted major like EE or IE and change the major later. Its really easy when you are already in the college of engineering. The req for transfering into comp sci from any major(including those in the department of agriculture) is a Calpoly cum of 2.75.</p>
<p>I would think he is a match. His V+M is 1320, the average of Cal Poly Engineering admits is 1280 for engineering. His GPA is a bit low (average is 3.81 for engineering), but I wouldn't worry about it. He has a lot of ECs to make up for it.</p>
