based on the low number of AP's..most kids at ivy league schools have around 8 or 9 AP classes total when they apply..
I would say
Dartmouth-reach, you have a good SAT though
Cornell-Match
JHU-match

i agree with last post though, you need to expand EC's or something.

How is he suppose to do that? "Expand EC's or something". That advice is a couple years late. It almost sounds like you are encouraging him to exaggerate on his ECs or just plain lie.

I think you have a good chance at all those schools. I can't tell about your ECs, it's quantity over quality, and if you are a really good dancer or writer, and if you've poured your heart and soul into that, they will know and it will help you a lot more than if you join like 7 different clubs just be hold an office position in each. They are trying to find out about your character, your values, what you believe in, etc. through your ECs. Who cares about a laundry list of offices or positions if they don't mean very much?

Many top schools don't offer any APs.......so if you think your statement represents the top students I don't agree with you. My HS didn't offer APs or IBs.......we had college level courses. We got plenty of kids into IVY schools.

well as far as AP's go, im in the IB Program and so i havent really taken many AP tests. but all my classes are IB and this year i am taking 6 IB tests
