I want to major in Biochemistry, and maybe study medicine as well. (maybe with Music Minor)
Some schools I'm looking into are

UChicago (EA)
NYU
CMU
UMich
Cornell
Georgetown
JHU
Northwestern
Brown
Emory
Columbia or UPenn (ED) (would be my TOP choice, but I doubt I'll get in)

This is pretty much all in my list for now, and I'd appreciate if you guys suggest me some other great colleges!

How is my ECs? I wasn't sure if they were decent, but I've been very busy with this schedule this year, so I might want to change it around a bit.

Any suggestions?? Thanks XD

Bump.........

wow self-studying ap bio and ap chem is going to be super hard.

and 2100+ is pretty good for a sophomore. your ECs look really good too. I think you have good chances at all those colleges.

UChicago (EA)-in
NYU-in
CMU-in
UMich-in
Cornell-decent chance
Georgetown-decent chance
JHU-decent chance
Northwestern-decent chance
Brown-decent chance
Emory-good chance
Columbia or UPenn- it is definately possible

yeah, i know canada schools are harder. Isnt an A like 85+. Cause even if so, yeah i heard they are tougher.

Thanks guys XD
Yes, Canada's public school is definitely harder than the US ones. For example, in my Physics 11 class, there are only 3 students getting over 90% out of 29 kids. 86+ is an A in our province.
Are there any other good colleges with great science programs?

You'd be a good match for Johns Hopkins. CalTech might take you if you step it up over the next year. Consider Harvey Mudd, but they'll probably want better test scores.

Can you guys suggest me some safetys? Thanks XD

Penn/Columbia are def. possible, if one of these is your first choice apply ED. You can never be sure about who gets in--strong essays and recommendations hold a lot of weight. Your SAT's, grades and extracurriculars are all fine and in the range of other applicants to these schools. Give it a shot. It's always better to try and then know for sure rather than always be wondering "what if?". Penn openly states that it favors ED applicants btw...
