Hello all! I am a female applicant from SC. I have heard that they have a strong communications/journalism program which I am interested in studying at college. Originally, I was not considering applying to SMU, but I have since received a lot of mail and emails from them, and they have waived by application fee. However, I am not sure if I would fit in there…I am white, upper middle class but certainly not rich. I am also pretty liberal, but being from the south, I do not mind be around conservatives; I just prefer a more moderate to liberal atmosphere. I guess my question is…would I fit in here? Also, do I have any chance in getting a scholarship?
