Chances for a bad test taker?

<p>All other math and science classes are honors</p>

-3 years of interact club
-1 year of NHS
-one of the starters for Robotics Club
-Badminton</p>

<p>As you can all see, my schedule and test scores shows that my English is not the best. I am leaning more toward majoring biochemistry or computers.</p>

<p>maybe you should try the SAT instead of ACT. and i don’t agree with above statement. you’re salutatorian after all (in a huge class). just study a bunch for the SAT; im sure you can pull off a good score with some dedication. you already have solid chances at the UCs because you’re in-state. gl!</p>

<p>If Chinese is your native language, you seem to test well when you know the subject!</p>

<p>The UC’s could be possible reaches with a 28, the rest seem unrealistic.</p>

<p>Unless you get your ACT (or an equivalenced SAT) above 30, you don’t have a realistic chance at Caltech, MIT, or UPenn. Even then, your ECs seem lacking for those schools.</p>

<p>Thank you for all the advices. Although I know some of the schools are almost impossible… I am working my hardest to overcome my English barrier… hopefully I can really pull it off…</p>
