OK so this upcoming year I will be a junior. I have been practicing the SAT/ PSAT and generally my scores have been in the 2030--2150 range. What are the chances that I can bring it up to a 2300 or higher? Any tips?

lol I’ve never heard on a chance thread on the SAT

But foreal go through the BB, and do some more practice tests. Review the ones you got wrong and actually UNDERSTAND why you got it wrong and learn from that.

Don;t let the numbers bog you down. As long as you keep studying EFFICIENTLY, there’s really nothing stopping you from a 2400. To get to the top, you need to study really hard and efficiently.

ahha thanks I just wanted to know if this was a realistic goal for me. Also, just wondering, how helpful have the Princeton Review books been for most of you? I’ve mainly been using CollegeBoard prep books…

I think the key to the SAT is knowing the test inside and out, like the format and style of questions. I would recommend taking the test MANY times for practice. I have over 30 tests lying at home for practice. Secondly, I learned with SAT Bio that you need to learn when to answer a question that you don’t know and when to skip it. Learn to efficiently count questionable answers and learn how to accurately gauge(spelling?) when to guess and when to skip. Personally, I only guess when it is down to 2 answers, for that is your best shot. By practicing repeatedly, it becomes a habit to incorporate these techniques. Good Luck!

Cheers

I am using the PR book and it is proving to be majorly helpful

Also do anyone know why it underlines PR?
