Hey! I don't really know much about whether you'd make it or not (since i'm class of 2012 too!) but your geographic location is REALLY a plus...I mean Bowdoin is way up in Maine and you're from Hawaii? Total climate change and huge location difference would hinder most applicants like you from applying, but you are! Plus, your standerdized scores are great, your courseload is the most you could have made of it. I think you can get in, personally. Good luck!

Honestly, Admissions is really hard to predict - looks like you have great qualifications though, so definitely apply and see how it goes. Bowdoin really tries to make the Admissions process "personal" and things like recs, essay, interests/talent, etc. will come into play. Continue to take a challenging course load and to develop and explore your passions, and give it a shot.

It's very cool that you're from Hawaii though - I think we might have a current student or two from Hawaii (not sure though), but I haven't met any!

yah i believe both students are from punahou

there is a girl named Lauren, and i will be visiting bowdoin in october

yah and my courseload is the most challenging of any1 in my school

sorry wrong name

her name is Piper lol

bump bump, any1 else?

btw in also President of the Fundraising Club
and just got a national hispanic scholar honorable mention award

yeah there's a dude named max too he's a cool dude i think he and piper went to the same school

well i don't really know (i'm applying for class of 2012, too) but i think you have a really strong shot. i mean besides the whole Hawaii thing, there's also the fact that you clearly are very gifted in the sciences/engineering fields. so... definitely apply! and HOPEFULLY (fingers crossed) we'll both have good news in december, or later i don't know if you're applying EDI.
