So please rate my sister's chances at Ivies, etc.:

Academics:
Goes to top private/prep school (think Andover/Exeter/Choate) - sends about 50% of kids to top 10 schools
GPA: School doesn't report, but probably 3.5 UW. 4.2 weighted. School is super, super competitive.
SAT: 2200
SAT 2: 800 M2, 800 M1, 770 Chem, maybe going to take Bio?
APs: AP Bio (5), AP Calc AB (5), AP Stats (5), AP USH (4), going to take AP World, AP Psych, AP Calc BC, AP Music Theory Sr. Year.
Courseload: Probably one of the hardest possible. Recommended is 3 APs, she took 4. I think she's easily in top 50% of class.

EC/Leadership:
Squash - made varsity team, takes lessons with private coach at nearby Ivy (which is her top choice) - not being recruited, but is a good player
Debate - Active member of debate team, a few prizes
Photography Club - Founder/president. Big into photography, has had various exhibits and has been featured in newspapers. Part of an entertainment business start-up where she is head of graphic design (kind of a big deal?)
Reseach - doing self-designed research this summer at same Ivy (top choice) in Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, the field that she wants to study in college. Hopefully going to submit to Intel/Siemens, let's see?
Many hours volunteering in hospitals, shadowing physicians in a small clinic, etc.
Has lived in Japan, Germany - minority status but not URM

She's interested in applying to engineering programs, and really liked Penn's SEAS, Columbia, and Dartmouth. Probably schools like Tufts, NYU, Michigan as well.

Hooks (possibly?): Brother, mother, and cousin (who grew up in her house) all went to the same aforementioned Ivy that she really wants to go to. we are just worried her grades might be a little too low for the Ivy (think HYPMSC)...that being said, she does go to a super, super competitive school. What do you guys think?
