Junior Year: All honors courses, one AP, one regular level course
Senior Year: I will be taking four AP courses, and two honors courses </p>
<p>In my high school you have to take a qualifying test to get into an AP Class. You first need to get a recommendation from your teacher, then take a test with 100-150 other students and the top 50 students get accepted into AP's. That is the reason I was only allowed to take one this year. </p>

-I was a member of the Boy Scouts of America since sixth grade and earned my Eagle Rank this past year. I was also awarded the Islamic Religious Medal, and attended the 2005 National Jamboree in Virginia.

-Member of the Kharazmi Farsi School since 1998. I am the equivalent of a sixth grader in Iran as of right now. I have the ability to read, write, and speak fluent Farsi
-Member of the "La Salle Bonanova". La Salle Bonanova is a academy in Barcelona, Spain which I have been attending the past four summers aimed at teaching advanced Spanish language students.
-President of Noor Va Danesh youth committee. Noor Va Danesh is a Iranian Muslim Association of Eastern United States focusing on the cultural and religious aspects of Iran.
-Volunteer teacher at the Noor Va Danesh Saturday School. I was a teacher aid in 2003-2004 for a kindergarten Farsi class.
-Director of the Noor Va Danesh youth soccer club. Every sunday morning I held a clinic for 13 kids who were under the age of 12.
-Volunteered at the Veterans Affair Hospital for one month
-Attended the Georgetown International Relations Program
-Attended the Princeton Syposium on State Government
-Nominated by the school administration to represent my high school in the New Jersey Scholars Program
-Traveled internationally to countries such as: England, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, and Iran.

-Three Year Varsity Soccer; Winner of the Defensive Player of the Year, Broke the record for most goals in one season my freshman year
-Played on a soccer club ranked #7 in the state since sixth grade, traveled across the country for tournaments</p>
<p>*I am going to apply ED to the school of Faculty of Languages and Linguistics. I feel because I have been in AP Spanish Language and Literature, and I speak and write Farsi, I have a good shot at the school. I have attended the La Salle Bonanova School in Barcelona the past four years which is for advanced Spanish langauge students which will help towards applying to the Linguistics schools. Lastly, this summer I am going to spend two months in Salamanca, Spain studying Spanish. </p>
